However you choose to head off and see this wonderful land is entirely personal, but a little pre-planning is always advisable, to ensure you see exactly what you aim to see, without bypassing the good stuff.
Full of large and vibrant cities, natural attractions, and jaw-dropping scenery, you can choose between the North Island or the South Island, or you can explore both – the choice is yours.
Let’s look at a few destinations you might like to check out.

You can explore these caves easily on foot, by crawling, or alternatively by raft, but however you choose to visit, this is a must do.
Alternatively, head to Hobbiton if you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit films, which are a very famous attraction!
Auckland, North Island
